Anyone used a sony Wega Flat tube TV with mame? I was very close to getting one but my wife used her veto power and as not to lose the whole cab project I game in. I do think it would look sweet! (nt)

I've heard these new 'whizzy' TV's don't work with light-guns n' stuff. Something to do with them running at 100Hz, or summut. (nt) ChrisC 4/03/2001 (0)
I don't have any specifics, but I seem to remember reading somewhere that these new flat tvs weren't the best for Mame....sometimes the "latest and greatest" technology doesn't mix well with the old fashioned games. You'd probably be better off buying an arcade monitor for that kind of money. (nt) JLR2000 4/03/2001 (2)
