Arcade Monitor

Hey Guys.

I recently bought a cabinet with a 25" arcade monitor inside. Now it is in working order, and does work. The thing I want to know is all the sights on the internet about arcade monitor safety. Am I right in assuming that that revers to installing a cap kit? I know for a fact that either way a monitor is a potential death inducing device, but I just would like to know the scoop.
