I *THINK* they use a POT. However, I don't know what size (Ohms) it is. If so, it is possible that you could wire two of them into the game port and emulate a joystick that way.


: Anyone have any experience with using the Atari driving paddle with MAME? I've heard the driving paddle has full 360 degree rotation. Does it act exactly like a spinner?

: And is it supported by Direct Pad Pro? Direct Pad Pro says it works with Atari devices, which would seem to mean it'll work with the spinner....
