thanks entirely to this great site and you people who make it live, i have built my first controller! it is so cool.
it's just a 4 button single 8way stick mounted in scrap plywood. i used a gamepad hack. i had a few wires wrong, but i got it staightned out. in the future i'm going to mount it and another stick and misc. buttons in a metal case, but i wanted to try the layout first.
