Unfortunately you have heard wrong. Keyboard hacking is not very easy to do unless you can find a really old keyboard with easy to solder connections. Then there is the case of key blocking and ghosting(do a search on this website). If you can afford it buy an I-Pac encoder(about $40 if i remember correctly), or buy 2 cheap gamepads and connect the buttons and sticks you bought to the gamepads.

: k i have payd for all the buttens and the 2 joysticks got the layout ready and everything and want 6 buttens per player so iv herd that keyboard hacking is the way to go so i pickd up a keyboard from a used place for like 5 dollers but i have no idea how to wire the dam thing and if somone could give me a link to a site that can help me with wiring this it would be great thanks
: and one more thing im planing on using the controls with emus that i have on my pc so is it possable to turn on the emu get the game runing then just disconect my keyboard and plug in the controler thing or do i only use the controler thing from know on for its the famlys pc
