The clicking is not noticeable while you're playing as long as the stick is mounted in an enclosure.

: : I have been wondering, do the microswitches of Happ pusbuttons and joysticks make a clicking sound when pressed? Does it vary on joystick types?
: : I have been wanting to buy some controlers, but I have been discouraged by this.

:
: I currently have the Happ joysticks and buttons.

: The clicking is only noticably loud when the controls are not mounted into the control panel.

: Once mounted, they are not really any noisier than the joysticks/buttons in a real arcade machine. The game sound is often much louder than the microswitch sounds.

: These kinds of microswitches have been used for a very long time in this sort of application. Mainly because they are good for something insane like 10 million actuations.
