I'm using a AMD Duron 700 overclocked to 1Gig with a ABIT KT7 mobo and 128 mg of PC150 Ram. I can run EVERYTHING with this setup and no problems. Oh yeah, my vid card is a ATI Rage Fury Pro 32MB w/ svid out. It looks great on the 25" T.V. I'm using in my cab. I'm running win98SE too..actually 98 lite which lets me take explorer and everything else that I don't want on the computer off. I'm also using this set-up to play Quake3 and Mech Warrior4 on my cab too, but 99% of the games are the arcades though. Everyonce in a while I like to look at the pretty graphics of the pc games of today. :) Anyway, Deffinately go with the AMD! Can't beat it for the cost!

Game on!! Brian

: I'm looking to put a PC together for my gaming needs, as well as for the occasional graphics work that I do.

: I was basically thinking of going for an 1.2GHZ AMD Thunderbird system with a GForce card that has TV-OUT.
: I was looking ata :
: FIC AZ11E w/AMD Thunderbird 1.2Ghz CPU & Heatsink/Fan

: Do these run everything just like an Intel as far as Win98 SE is concerned? Sorry, I've just only ever used Intel processors, so I don't know. I only speak Intel.

: Also, anyone have any experience dealing with www.econopc.com out of california?

: Thanks for your time
