Actually, tipping an arcade cab while transporting is fine. I have transported several full-size games 100s of miles in my station wagon (don't laugh) without any probs.
I wouldn't power 'em up while there sideways, but lets not forget that most machines are build to handle a lot of abuse.
I put lots of cardboard down to prevent scratches and aid in sliding on and off.
