U3100 specs say lowest freq is 56Hz. Is it OK to go below this, then with R-type et al? (nt)

: Nope the monitor doesn't do 800x600, but I am running mine via MonARC Plus with all sorts of weird resolutions, mine works with 53.20hz used by Midway games, also 55hz used by R-Type and other custom freq modes.. I am running them all with scanlines to make them look exactly the same as my 19" Std Res monitor..
