AMD Question

I'm looking to put a PC together for my gaming needs, as well as for the occasional graphics work that I do.

I was basically thinking of going for an 1.2GHZ AMD Thunderbird system with a GForce card that has TV-OUT.
I was looking ata :
FIC AZ11E w/AMD Thunderbird 1.2Ghz CPU & Heatsink/Fan

Do these run everything just like an Intel as far as Win98 SE is concerned? Sorry, I've just only ever used Intel processors, so I don't know. I only speak Intel.

Also, anyone have any experience dealing with www.econopc.com out of california?
