This should work. You plug the first board into the second and the second into the PC. Another way which might be better would be to use USB. Then you simply plug both boards into the PC. USB allows a longer cable length too.
One input (coin 1) is tied to ground on one board to make it use a different set of codes. Or you can program both boards differently.
