I'd also copy EDIT.COM and MSCDEX.EXE to the floppy, so you can edit the startup files and have your CD-ROM work (presumably it'll be where your ROM files are loaded from).

: A simple way to do it would be...

: 1. On a win 98 machine, format a floppy using:
: Format a: /s

: 2. Copy FORMAT.COM to the floppy

: 3. Boot the computer you want to load DOS 7 on with the floppy.

: 4. Format C: drive by typing:
: Format C: /s

: The C Drive will be formatted (EVERYTHING WILL BE ERASED) and the DOS system files will be transferred so it is bootable.

: : Hi people, let me make use of your knowledge?

: : I want to use DOS 7 / 7.1 on a arcade-only computer, but don't want want to spend much time on installing Windows 98 on the HD. What I'd like is to know what are the exact files in Windows 98 that makes the machine using DOS 7, to just copy-and-paste from my HD to a new one...
