Sadly people who hope to run Windows on a standard res monitor are dreaming, it will never be great for a start the flicker is just horrible, due to the terribly low refresh rate of 30hz and it can mess up other things like the way the mouse pointer works and things like Overlays and such.
TV out for running Windows is a lot better solution.
Or a Medium Resolution monitor would be a better solution too.
