: I'm trying to remap some keys in MAME with ArcadeOS, but the key remapping functionality doesn't seem to be working. Am I doing something wrong?

: Basically, I have a Hotrod SE joystick which is hard-wired to use the Left ALT key (which isn't agreeable to some other Windows-based emulators). So, I used ZDKeymap to make the Left ALT key the B key. This is working great! However, NOW I need to tell MAME to use the B key instead of the Left ALT key, and was hoping to use ArcadeOS'es remap functionality to do that. I got the scancodes and put them into the arcadeos.cfg file. It's still not working. So what am I missing? Anyone got ArcadeOS to remap in MAME ever?

: Brad

MAybe im missing something here but... why cant you just make the default key in mame be a 'B' by going into a game... hitting tab and change it in the config for all games?
