I've heard that Happ Monitors use a cheaper quality tube and hence have worser quality picture.
Most games will work on these monitors, although 512x384 might pose a possible problem as most video cards run this mode at a similar scanrate to 800x600.
Please not that standard resolution games, look noticably blocky, not like a real arcade monitor, however if you run with scanlines on they look pretty much the same..
