I have 3 CP's for my machine and they can be swapped in less than 30 seconds.

First, make sure you wire your CP to some sort of connector - I use a DB 25, like the end of a printer cable that attaches to the PC.

Secondly, The cabinet itself has 2 alignment pins. Basically I drilled 2 holes and put dowel rods in them - they extend about 3/8". These dowels align with holes on the bottom of the CP.

Third, use panel clamps to hold the CP in place. You can by these at Happs for about $4 each, but I opted to go to Home Depot and get something similar from there.

Hope that helps!

: For those of you who have multiple control panels, how do you go about attaching them to your cabinets?

: Right now, as I build my cabinet I have a multi-purpose CP with all the fixin's - just to get me off the ground, but I'd like to figure into my plans to have switchable control panels for the future, and was wondering how other folks have implemented this.
