multiple devices to single interface?

I have my trackball hooked up to a Happs USB interface - I just installed my spinner and I'm considering hooking it up to one of the axis on the same interface - or is this a bad idea? Do you figure this would not work/damage the interface? I don't imagine it would, but I thought I'd ask...
