In Reply to: Happs Perfect 360 joystick- where do I get 5v power (more)? posted by viewpoint2k on 22, 2001 at 5:28 PM:

Whether you're using a JAMMA setup or a PC, your power supply has +5 volts available on it. If you are using a computer, you can get the power from one of the drive power connectors off of the power supply (it will be the red wire). If you are using a switching power supply in a JAMMA cabinet, there should be a screw terminal marked +5V that you can use.

: I bought a Happs Perfect 360 to replace a Happs Super, not realizing I would need a regulated 5v power source. Where do I get 5v from (I'm a newbie at this). BTW, I went to Radio Shack and they had 6v but not 5v and it would require adding a resistor, etc. Thanks.
