: : Hi:

: : Im making a PC2JAMMA with my HANTAREX MTC9000 Cabinet. The first time I used a S3VIRGE to make the VIDEO OUT from PC to HANTAREX, with the S3 only works VSYNCMAME, but today I buy a ATI XPERT98 because I want to use the ARCADEOS frontend, but I have a Problem:

: : When I start ARCADEOS, after the 3beeps I power up my Cabinet, but in the screeen I can only see the siluete of ARCADEOS and a lot of Coloured Lines moving in screen.

:
: Hello, I have the same setup. Have you got the arcadeOS.cfg set to arcade monitor?
: : Anyone can helpme with the problem???
: : Im using separated Syncs, vertical and horizontal, not composite sync. (HANTAREX support the two types of sync composync and separated sync)

: : Thanks

Hi:

First say you thanks for your post.

Yes I put the ARCADEOS.CFG in ARCADE MONITOR mode, but I cant get a good image.

In my ATIXPERT98 chips appears: RAGE XL, you have the same video card?
Im going crazy with this problem but today I found something interesting:

I use the AMCAB 0.8 (a pack of video tools 'VGA' 'VBE' 'MV' 'VIDEO').
If I run VGA.exe after boot the MSDOS I can see the MSDOS PROMPT and EDIT and other tools perfect.
VGA run a lot of VIDEO MOVIES in 15khz mode.

After running de VGA tsr program I start the ARCADEOS with this option:

#Using external arcade monitor TSR (such as MonARC)
extdriver=1

And I can see a good quality image of ARCADEOS, but when I start a mame rom in the screen apears THIS!!!!:

The same game in two little screens one in the left of screen and the other in the right and streched.

If you can sendme your arcadeos.cfg or info about your configuration you help me a lot.

Thanks for all
