Hmm, looks like the only contribution successjoe has ever made is the odd snide remark - I know I'm impressed.
There was a web site up a couple of months taking donations to buy one of the 2 known marble madness machines (the other belongs to videotopia) and dump the roms for use in mame. However, the owner of the cabinet changed his mind when it looked like the collection effort would actually succeed and said it wasn't for sale any more.
He claimed that he never had any intention of selling the game and had given the unrealisticly high price with the expectation than no-one would be interested. I guess he underestimated the number of rabid mame fans in the world.
So as it stands the game has not been dumped, nor is it ever likley to be dumped unless another cabinet is discovered, he changes his mind or videotopia come to their senses and recognise that mame is the way of the future :-)
