The coin buttons are already on the sides of the HotRod SE, left side for 1 Player and right side for 2 Player. MAME already makes all HotRod buttons fully configurable (even in combinations), so for example I use one button to select a game from my Arcade@Home frontend, and I press the 1 Player Start button and 2 player Start button at the same time to quit the game and get back to the frontend.
