The three prongs on your buttons are Ground, Normally Open, and Normally closed. You know what ground is, and it's the outermost prong which is lower than the other two.
Your "Hot" wire goes to the normally open prong, which is the next closest prong to ground.
You won't be using the normally closed prong at all. If you did, the effect you would get is as if the button is held down all the time, except for when you push it.
