ArcadeOS and other Emus

Ive tried several frontends for my system and would really like to use ArcadeOS. The trouble is tha I can only get it to work with MAME. I have downloaded the additional app files and tried changing them around but still cannot get them to work for ZSNES or Z26. AOS simply does not see the ROMS. Has anybody else had this prob?
