The only reason that my 550 e-machine wouldn't run the newer games is that it was only a 550. :) The newer ones like I said MK2, MK3, NBA JAm etc need a lot of power (speed) to run and I didn't have that.
The Neo Geo's worked fine on that one though.

: : I was using an EMachine Monster 550 Mhz for Mame until my wife took it to school. :) I really liked it. It had no problems running anything (except the really new Mame games like MK2, Ultimate MK, NBA Jam etc..), but I was happy with everything else. It had on board sound and it worked fine in MAME. Anyway I wouldn't be afraid of them if you are thinking of getting one.
