I'm surprised that you haven't heard, all of the message boards at arcadeathome have been taken down by Tim Eccle (sp?) die to recent, ah... controversy over his dealings with efront (the company that provides bandwith and money for many emualtion sites).

The story, and let me stress that this is JUST as story, goes that he and the managers of efront got together and decided to stop paying mame.dk their banner money in order to force mame.dk to close and thus boost hits to arcadeathome.

After unsucessfuly trying to defend his actions on the arcadeathome boards for a few days tim (or possibly someone at efront) took them down a few days ago.

So is it true? Did tim and his buddies at e-front get together to put mame.dk and assorted others out of business to boost hits (and thus banner revenue) on arcadeathome?
I don't know. What I do know is that efront is a BUSINESS and it is in business to make money. I also know that tim's site has looked a lot like a warez site for quite some time.

If he goes I won't miss him (or his warez site). I do however miss mame.dk.

Tim - if you were involved: you suck.
If you weren't involved: you don't suck but your site could stand to loose a few popups and baners

Hope this clears things up
remember that nothing above has been proven at this point.

THe only thing that is confirmed is that the arcadeathome boards are down because of the "anti Tim" sentiment that was being expressed on them.
