Set the default MAME screen size to 640x480. That is the only true resoution that a TV can use.

Also I recomend to use StretchMame32 for TV users.

: Wow, I was amazed by the difference that program is capable of producing. Unfortunately, I have one problem. The program that I want it work most with is MAME (MAME32 to be exact). But setting MAME32 to Auto-detect the size that each game should be sometimes causes TVTool to crash when it chooses a resolution that I guess TVTool is unfamiliar with. Are there any known ways of solving this problem? Or will I have to be selective about using TVTool?
