: I have a question regarding keyboard encoders and multiple key presses. If the encoder is running in matrix mode at 3 x 21, does that mean I can press 21 keys simultaneously and have the encoder see all of the key presses? Is there a limit to how many keys it can see (does it use a buffer)? This is assuming no ghosting problems, either due to diodes or a good key layout.
: If it depends on the encoder, bear in mind that I am probably going to buy the LP24 from Haggstrom.
Hmmm...you got that many fingers/toes? :)
I run mine [KE-24] in a 2x22 matrix and I haven't seen any troubles whatsoever.
The hagstrom devices are a real nice piece of work [much easier than the two keyboards I hacked up when I started toying with this about a year ago].
