If we'd all put our roms in to 1 big .mp3 file (renamed from .zip), we could all share them now on napster, gnutella, etc. This seems like it would be the easiest and most convenient. Anyone up for something like this?? Or maybe it would be more stable on IRC?

: It's too bad that the rom files don't have their own extension (like .mam) so that we could recognize them apart from other file types. Then we could put them on something like gnutella.

: : Arcade@Home still has a site available.
: : They are buried under a ton of annoying auto-pop-up ad banners, but thats how they pay for their bandwidth.
: : JoseQ has roms, currently only up to .37b11, but Jose have never been fast about updating his site.
: : Then there is always Carracho, Hotline, Gnutella, and UCENET (bleah).
: : Of course, some snazzy programmer might take it upon himself to make a ROM trading program equiv to Napster. :)
