I have a ATI Expert@Play 98 and it works great without the need to load any drivers at all. The key is that your card truly support tv out in DOS. Most cards only support this in windows. As for setting, you want to set Mame to standard VGA. The -ntsc and -arcade options are only when you have these connected via the VGA port and a custom cable. Your video card is doing the NTSC conversion, so as far as Mame is concerned it is sending out a VGA signal and your card does the rest.

: I've just change my cabinet to use MAME Dos instead of mame32. I have everything working under dos (real dos 6.22) sound etc. But when i plug my tv into the video card mame just freeze's after loading the rom, It work fine if i just output to monitor.

: Machine as follows
: 850mhz athlon In Abit KT7A mb
: AWE64 sound card
: ATI RAGE PRO TURBO PCI With tv out.
: 196Meg ram

: I've used the "-monitor ntsc" & "-monitor pal" options, I've also used "-ntsc" all with no luck.

: I've also downloaded ati vesa drivers m64vbe.com still with no luck.

: Please help!!!!!!!!!!!11
