Hi,
that's actually a picture of ArcadeOS with Final Fight as the background,
rather than FF.
(ArcadeOS's (arcade monitor) GUI is 320x200,
so it squashes/stretches backdrops to fit.)
When you run Final Fight itself it'll run with a y res of 224,
so it'll be taller than that
and it'll fill the screen complete horizontally
(in fact, you'll probably get slight overscan left and right)

: Just browsing around and saw my 1st picture of a 'squished' capcom res in a mame cabinet.

: My qn is : When using ArcadeOS + Mame in a dedicated Acrade cabinet, can the resolution
: (that most of the cps1 Capcom games run in) run full screen on the arcade monitor?
: ie : no vertical gaps?
: Is this something that we can 'tweak' ourselves?
: Is this something that we should do to all the different resolutions available.?
: Or is this automatic when using an ATI mach 64 based card?
: ie : screen stretching to 640 x 480
: btw : .. my arcade monitor is 25 in and yet to be hooked up.
: Thanks in advance.
