Great idea!!! I plan on finishing my cabinet this weekend, and I was dreading trying to put together an on/off circuit for the monitor. I've had one of those X10 Firecrackers sitting in my closet gathering dust for a year now, so I'm glad to put it to use. I'll let you know how everything goes.
: I haven't actually wired this up in my cabinet yet, but I've set it up with a desk fan instead of a monitor, and it seems to work just fine. If anyone sees any obvious flaws in this setup, please let me know, because I'll probably be implementing it in the next 30 days or so.
