I have made my own interface board. Take a look at pictures 13, 14, 15, 16, 20, and 21 off the link below. My design has the benefit of having one ground per input. There are 72 screw terminals, 36 signal and 36 ground. This eliminates the need for a separate grounding strip.
If anyone wants the PCB mask, I can send it to you. The only really tough part was drilling the holes for the IDE connecter. Of course, for $16, it's defintely less headache to buy one. :)
