Control Panel Woodworking

I have completed the first stage of my arcade conversion. I've finished with the outside of the cabinet, and installed the monitor.

I've been a temp PC out of spare parts. This will be replaced in stage 3.

Stage 2 is my control panel. Right now I've got the original panel from the machine hooked up. But I'm planing on replacing it.

I'm going to use particle board, but to get all of my controls I'm going to half to expand the control panel higher and wider.

What tools does anyone suggest I use for this? I will need to cut groves for the T-Molding. Cut the wood at angles.

I had planned on buying a skill saw. And what else?

Any suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks,

Raven
