I actually have one of those bookpc's hooked up to my Stereo in my living room. I also have run MAME on it - flawlessly. They have the fastest boot time to windows I have ever seen (roughly 23 sec). I use it on my 32" toshiba, the picture is average for tv out on a computer. My one complaint is that you are left with a black border around the screen; the manufacturer tries to get around this by providing 'overscan', but it is way flaky causing the screen to flash and flicker ever so slightly, but it does remove the border. BTW if anyone knows how to tweak these chipsets please let me know! As for non-mame games, the 3D performance is -- uh -- okay - for tv resolutions. All in all the book pc works great for MAME, nice and compact, all in one design. Also comes with a wireless keyboard and remote.

Oh yeah it has a wimpy 100 watt power supply though -- ugghh.

My Bookpc is from Amptron http://www.amptron.com
