Ordered it last Tuesday and received it today via UPS ground. Cost with shipping for the 3" translucent red tb was $ 88.50. Point of origin was New Jersey and I live in Texas. Came packaged inside a small box within a larger box that had packing peanuts.

First impressions: This trackball rules! Now I haven't really played with a real arcade trackball for longer than I can remember, so I can't say if this one is spinning as well as it could or should. I guess I could always take it apart like Doug H. and put it back together and see if it spins better. Either way, it spins LOADS better than my CompUSA crystal trackball, so I'm not complaining at all. It just seems a little loose and doesn't sound quite as smooth as I figured it would. Maybe I should lube it? Hmmmm. Anyway, how does it play? First, I just unplugged my mouse and plugged in the tb...talk about easy. Tested it with Missile Command, Marble Madness and Mini Golf and other than having to adjust the settings for each game (I set them all at speed=125 & sensitivity=75) it was a snap. The games played great. I suppose it is all just a matter of preference in regards to the speed/sensitivity settings.

Final conclusion: Is it worth the near $90 price tag? Well, if you play tb games a bunch and are unhappy with the tb's you can get at the computer store, then by all means it is worth it. Solidly built, great performance and in my case, the added bonus of the really deep red color you get once you shine a light up through the bottom. Two big thumbs up!
