From reading the helpful information at this site I understand that a 8 way joystick only uses 4 contacts, and that using an 8 way on a 4-way game could cause some delays or problems with movement.
What would you recommend if you want a cabinent that can play most games?
I've thought of two options:
1) Use only 8-way since it seems the majority of the games I would play are 8-way
2) Put 4 sticks on the control panel, two 4way and two 8way. Each pair would use the same keys (one 4way and one 8way)
Any other recommendations or suggestions?
