woohooo, just been playing around with the Opti-Joys from Happs, all is good and well, apart from one noticeable problem, my wrist aches! reason due to the fact that its hard todo really fast spinning (yeah-yeah you people think what you like), i.e its not sensitive enough, 255 is just about okay for Heavy Barrel and some others, but Forget Forgotten Worlds that is so slow, you could like crank around all day..
I looked at the MAME source code (again!!), and due to the way it holds the sensitive value (only 8bits, meaning max value assigned can be 255, not high enough at all, but I did some quick hacking, and decided that a new thing should be added, called Sensitive Enhancer, hence it will take the current Senstive value (25, 100 or what not) and add the Sensitive Enhancer to that value to get a much higher number.
With a sensitivty of 2048, Forgotten Worlds was just about spot on!! (heavy barrel was like litte twist was 360!), also the sensitivity shall go up by 100, nothing more annoying that holding down that cursor, as it will have to be set each time the game is run, as its MAME doesn't know what is happening to the input analogue device.
