Well, that's not completely true. It only affects games that will run by default in 640x480. With tweak=yes, these games will run in a sort of "half-height" pseudo-hires VGA mode where it displays only every other line of game graphics. With tweak=no, these games will attempt to run in the 640x480 interlaced mode.
