: Hi all..

: I just brought home Digital Leisure's version of Dragon's Lair (two cd's with DL, DL2, and Space Ace). I'm a bit disappointed by the resolution of the game, but it has been nearly 15 years since I last saw the original, so I might be remembering it better than it was. Anyway...

: The game runs in Windows 95/98 in 320x200 mode in a regular window. I'm trying to setup a spare PC as a dedicated DL system nad I'm having some difficulties. If anybody can help me out, I'd much appreciate it...

: First, the game always loads in a 320x200 window on the desktop. There doesn't seem to be any options that will let me boot it up full screen. I tried changing the shortcut to open maximized, but that didn't work. Then I tried to change my video res to 320x20, but the lowest my card goes is 640x480. Arrrgh!

: Also, I can't seem to get the game to execute without having the regular Windows borders around the play screen. I went into desktop preferences and changed as much as I could to black in the hopes that I could disguise the fact that it's running in windows, but I can't seem to change the color of the highlights... they always stay a dull gray and leave an outline around the windows.

: Can anybody point me in the right direction here? I have a feeling that what I'm trying to do with the app isn't what digital leisure had intended anyone to do, but it would be nice to have a dedicated DL.

: Thanks
: Brian

I think the right direction would be to the trash can (or resell them on Ebay). The resolution does suck on those. I would recommend you get the DVD versions instead from http://www.digitalleisure.com/. On their download page, they even have the intro's for Dragon's Lair, Space Ace and Dragon's Lair II in DVD format . You even might be able to find them online elsewhere for cheaper.
