Yes USB in DOS is not supported.

Yes this is definitely a "feature" of USB in DOS. It is not really supported, as mentioned on my site. Most PC BIOSes do have rudimentary USB DOS keyboard support but is really only for configuring the CMOS menus etc. I have found for some reason that Award Bioses slow down noticeably when using the non-numeric-pad arrow keys. USB is best avoided in DOS and is really only for Windows use. This problem will not happen in Windows.

: I have my IPAC hooked up using a USB cable. i have noticed significant amount of slowdown. When I unplug it, it goes away. When I plug it in and press a button, it imediatly starts skiping frames. Could this be because i am using USB (in pure DOS), or because I am using an extension cable? I
