Nice card. It's what I use.

You can only use 640x480 and 800x600 modes. A NTSC TV screen can only do 640x480 including overscan (the parts that go over the edge of cabinet mask) 800x600 is downsized to 640x480 by the card to fit on the screen. Also when you have a 640x480 computer image on the screen and it fits on your TV screen it is actually down sized smaller to fit within the 7-10% overscan of a TV. So really your card is displaying about 600x440 veiwable on the TV screen.

For TV use, I recomend to use Windoze and StretchMame32. Set the default options to FullScreen and 640x480. I also use FAT mode (selected by putting Triple Buffer on.) FAT mode streches the picture to completely fill the screen. While not accurate to the original arcade machine, it is easier to see across the room.

: Anyone here with this video card can answer this question:

: Can I use the TV-out with DOS (low res vesa & tweaked modes)?

: How about the support for tweaked resolutions/refresh rates, and the AdvancedMame custom modes creation?

: And the quality of the TV-out??

: I'm going to use it with a multisync svga monitor.

:
: Thanks.
