Hi,
do you get crashes in Pure DOS as well as a DOS box ?
and is this when running a MAME game or another emulator ?

I haven't seen anything like it myself, but I run it under pure DOS,
I'll give it a serious bash at home tonight under Win95

It might be worth putting the logging up to full
(logging=2 in arcadeos.cfg) and mailing me the arcadeos.log
file to see if that reveals anything.

------
: I just downloaded the latest Arcadeos with some strange
: results. Upon running the program, sometimes it loads
: and sets the sync for by arcade monitor(3 beeps).
: When I try and run a game, its like the sync jumps back up
: and I have to switch monitors back quickly. I get
: a "performed an illegal operation" statement.If I click
: details it gives me a "The program encountered a general
: protection exception."
: Fault location: 00A7:131C

: Interupts in service: None

: Now, sometimes when it doesn't load, I get a long list
: of errors within the dos box. Anyone have any
: suggestions for this occurance.By the way, these errors
: never occured when using the previous version of
: Arcadeos.
