Super Dodge Ball (Neo Geo)?

I'm having a weird problem with the latest MAME and AOS when I run Super Dodge Ball (The Neo Geo version). None of the controls seem to work except for the coin buttons and start buttons. Anyone else have this problem? I'm trying to figure out if it's an AOS or MAME problem, or just a problem on my end.
