VGA Monitor and flourescent light question

I have a small problem. The flourescent light behind my marquee is causing a magnetic field that is causing the upper right corner of the screen on my monitor to flicker. When I turn the light off, the flickering stops. When I turn it on, it starts again. Degaussing doesn't help.

Can anyone tell me what I can use to shield the monitor from this magnetic field?
