Actually, this is the same thing I told my friends years ago when they discovered PSX piracy. Yes, you can get 30 games for 55 dollars, but are there really 30 games you want? And it does become sensory overload. You just go from game to game, never fully enjoying any of them fully. Same goes for MAME. I see it as less about morals, and more about fun factor. After all, that what this is all about right?

Anyways, my dreams of having a multi-game cabinet started when I was a child. Anyone else remember Nintendo Powers first issue? A kid wrote a letter in saying he built a cabinet to house his NES. Since then, I was obsessed with building a cab. After several failed attempts (I started when I was 13, what do you expect!), I got my first computer, and soon found your page. That is when the dream became a reality. In all seriousness, sometimes i just turn my favorite game on, and let the demo play. it makes me realize how thankfull i am that guys like you, the MAME team, and the great people at this board made it all possible, and the best part is, it was never made dirty by involving money. The whole thing was driven by love for classic arcade games. Thats pretty amazing in my book.

Sorry for all the melodrama by the way. Coffee bean grinder broke this morning, and when I don't have coffee, it tends to get ugly ;)
