: Ok, here is whats going on. I still have been unable to use regular MAME in my cab. Everytime I load a game, it forces my computer reset. What should I be setting the "monitor = ____" to in the .cfg? Anyways, I have gotten around this by using VsyncMAME instead. It has worked flawlessly from the start. Unfortunatly, it seems there is a significant amount of time between new MAME releases, and Vsync updates. This has made me take another look at AdvanceMAME, which seems to be both prefered by several board members, and updated quickly. I have read all the instructions, but still have a few questions. First, I am using a Japanese standard/medium res monitor. Since I use it only in standard mode, do I only need to add the lines for a standard res monitor to the .cfg? Second, where exactly do I add the [video] hclock = 15.75 vclock = 50 - 60 lines. The .cfg has no [video] section. Do I add it at the very end after the tweak settings? And does it matter if I use the "mv" file in the AdvanceMENU, or the AdvanceMAME? Can I use ArcadeOS with AdvanceMAME, or do i have to use AdvanceMENU? Sorry, i know these are pretty lame questions, but changing over from ArcadeOS is a little difficult.
