I’ve decided to use a keyboard encoder for my cabinet, and I was searching for advice on which one to buy when I came upon the KBE-1 from a company called Audon Electronics. I haven’t seen any reference to this one before, but it sounds very nice: 102 keys mapped to a 16 x 8 matrix (non-programmable), 16 key buffer, no ghosting problems, pass thru included, and it looks to be a lot cheaper than the Haggstrom encoders. Does anyone have any advice or opinions on the KBE-1? How does Haggstrom’s encoders compare to Audon’s? Thanks in advance.
