Another option is to install a happs microswitch horizontal push button right next to the power switch... then open your case take the leads going to the pc case switch and wire into the happ switch instead ... that way you could turn on the power switch and then hit the button in back to turn the pc on....

: Most ATX systems have a bios option to tell it what to do after a power failure. Set it to automatically power on.

: : Me, too!! I hate having to turn on the PC separately. What I thought about doing was shorting the two pins on the motherboard that are connected to the externam computer switch. It worked ok when I tested it -- but feared that I might blow something on the mobo if I left it that way.

: :
: : : I have to do the same thing. I just open the coin door and turn the t.v. on. It's no big deal since it only takes a couple of seconds. I don't know of a way around this. I do have a question for you though. How did you get your computer to come on with the power switch? What did you set in the bios? I'd like to do this too. :) Thanks!

: : : Game on!! Brian

: : : : Hello, I have small problem. More an annoyance. I have all my components hooked to a line that has a light switch on it, so when I flip the switch, the cabinet, PC (Done in the BIOS wit ha special setting) marquee and scan converter all get power and come right on.

: : : : Except for the TV. I need to press the power button on the TV after everything is on in order to get the TV to power up. It remembers its in S-Video mode, and works right away with the PC, but that's the best I can get.

: : : : Is there a way, some kind of simple, easy to manufacture thingy, that I can do to make the TV come on when the power is applied to the main switch? Please advise. Thanks all.
