I've cured this on one cabinet.

Try this:
have someone hold down the power button on the TV before you flip the main power on, and keep holding it down for a while. If the TV powers up when you flip the switch, and behaves normally, you can mod the TV by shorting the power button. Usually, it's on a daughter board and takes a little work to get to, but it's an easy fix.

: I have to do the same thing. I just open the coin door and turn the t.v. on. It's no big deal since it only takes a couple of seconds. I don't know of a way around this. I do have a question for you though. How did you get your computer to come on with the power switch? What did you set in the bios? I'd like to do this too. :) Thanks!

: Game on!! Brian

: : Hello, I have small problem. More an annoyance. I have all my components hooked to a line that has a light switch on it, so when I flip the switch, the cabinet, PC (Done in the BIOS wit ha special setting) marquee and scan converter all get power and come right on.

: : Except for the TV. I need to press the power button on the TV after everything is on in order to get the TV to power up. It remembers its in S-Video mode, and works right away with the PC, but that's the best I can get.

: : Is there a way, some kind of simple, easy to manufacture thingy, that I can do to make the TV come on when the power is applied to the main switch? Please advise. Thanks all.
