You prolly have a trackball, put all the buttons you want on that. For MAME, and most other EMUs, you can just use your regular cabinet buttons with it, P1, P2, etc. The spinner can be used together with any other controls, pretty much, so you might want to just go that way.

My Buttons are attached to my trackball, I use a serial switching device called a Y-Mouse, to switch between the spinner and the TB, when in spinner mode, the buttons don't work, because if I touch one, the control will switch back to the TB, so I just use Player 1 button 1, and P2 B2,etc.

Remember, you can have up to 3 buttons with a spinner, you can have as many as you want on the panel with the keyboard interface.
